A loving home sought for this wonderful little pony.
I purchased Basil over eight years ago, with the idea of having a bit of fun producing him, while my mare was in foal; but he never ended up going anywhere as I fell in love with him!
Some of his achievements include:
-NPS supreme dressage champion
- 2nd HOYS SFAS
- Top 3 finish at Petplan Summer Champs
- BD Novice Native pony champion
- Reserve Supreme Assendon Final NPS Summer champs
- Qualified Hartpury BD champs.
He really is such a versatile little pony, he'll go arena eventing, do workers, showjump and dressage... but is equally as happy hacking round the woods! So many wins BD / unaffiliated showjumping, / arena XC and won his first (and only) ODE – finishing on his dressage score.
The last competition he went to he was jumped round a 70cm course by a child who had never ridden him before
Super easy to do, loads, stands on the lorry, always been good to catch, clip etc. I just want something a little bigger now. If I could make him grow to 14hh I definitely wouldn't be considering parting with him!
I've previously had some dressage training on him with Rui Campeao, who said he could easily go up to Medium level dressage quickly.
Tonnes of photos / videos available.
Please no timewasters, home is incredibly important for this little dude. I did have him 5 stage vetted last week (for my own peace of mind before advertising him), which he passed and the insurance certificate is available to any serious buyer. Sorry no loans.

He has done all PC activities and camps. He is a kind, mannerly little pony who loves his job. He goes very nicely and is perfect for WHP and pops a fence from trot. He is forward going but with brakes. My daughter has done pony club rallies and local shows, and he behaves perfectly out and about. He loves hacks and is good to hack alone.
Goes Barefoot, good with the farrier, loads onto a trailer and travels well, good to clip and catch.
Barney is the perfect pony for someone who wants to go out and join pony club teams. He isn’t a first pony, more a 1.5 and he’s looking for a rider who is ready to go out and have a fun summer of competing.
No loans or trial periods. Tack available by separate negotiation

Very well bred beautiful pony. We have owned Mino for 6 years and this is a heartbreaking sale but feel needs to go to another little girl to teach to ride. In the 6 years we have had him my daughter has never fallen off!
He is well schooled and would make lovely dressage pony. Very safe and easy pony, good to hack, 100% in traffic and good in open spaces. My daughter regularly rides him bareback and he has lovely manners. Has done unaffiliated showjumping and is happy to go slowly round cross poles with small jockey. Been cross country schooling and was great. Do not want him to go to a BS home.
Good in pony club rallies, pole work etc.
He is an absolute dream to keep and do.
